How It Should Have Been~ A work in progress.

This is a fan fiction of Final Fantasy X and X-2 a little of both. This story is how i think things should have gone...and yes, it is a bit complicated. I am not recreating what happened, i am writing my own version of the events. Thank you. Warning this story is not even a possibility to the series, or at least I do not think that it is. So if you do not want to hear insane thoughts and almost impossible plots, I do not think you want to read any further.

Prologue

This is the story, as I saw...many summers ago. This story must be told, and understood to prevent it from happening again. Listen to this story, because this is our last chance to get things right. The True Goddesses may not permit another mistake like the one the olds ones made, so listen well...

Chapter One

Yuna stood there waiting, silently, for her guardians. This was it. This was the End. They had there their chance now, to defeat the creature, they had one shot to do it their way...or Spira would fall to Sin and Yu Yevon. She looked up sharply at a foot step behind her. "Tidus..." She whispered.

"I'm here, and the others will be in just a moment. But...I want to give you something...badly." He said softly. As he spoke he lifted the necklace from his neck and settled it on hers. "Just to show the world...how close we are." He said quietly. And she looked utterly shocked.

"I can't take this...what do you mean? The World?" Yuna said looking deeply into Tidus's face, looking for anything that hinted to what he could possibly mean.

Tidus paused and took a deep breath. "Yuna...you know I really like you....well... Among my people giving you this pendant shows everyone that I love you, and that I would like nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you. Seeing as that at least, is true....I thought it fit some how. So Please...Please just keep it with you." He said quietly.

Yuna said nothing, only stared at Tidus for several long moments. "I don't know what to say..." She finally whispered. Tidus said nothing at all, only looked at her.

Then the others came up. Auron raised an eyebrow very slightly toward Tidus, effectively saying: Be careful, you know what is at stake, you should not be doing this. But Auron said nothing aloud.

Wakka raised an eyebrow as well. "Are we gonna go and do this, or not?" He said quietly. He didn't know that there was anything weird going on, so he didn't say a word to Tidus or Yuna other than that.

Lulu nodded "We should go..' She said slowly.

Rikku bounced slightly "Lets get this done, so we can go home!" She said excitedly.

Yuna and Tidus nodded, and they moved forward as a Pair...

They moved slowly, heading forward, to fight, this was the end...all they needed now, was for Sin to come.

Chapter Two

Tidus shook his head slightly, as he watched sin come forward. He took a deep breath and released it slowly. He looked like he was ready for anything, any fight, any word, and any action. He was not going to back down...this time, he was ready. He had long since resigned to the fact that he was not going to go home...and he was ready to deal with this. He shifted the blade on his shoulder, and waited.

His eyes were open, and he was gazing at what his father had become. He could see a powerful firery red glow, that told, that somewhere, within that monster, was Jecht. Tidus had recieved a little known skill known as Spirit sight, that allowed him to see a person's Aura. He blinked his eyes, and returned to normal sight, he did not want to see his father's Aura...he did not want to hope that he could be reverted to a truely human form again.
