Nope, the move she is using is called 'Firaga' ...reason why there are flames bursting out. But seriously, Im happy the girl fights...like Final Fantasy X-2 was great and all...but Paine was seriously the only one that was strong. But this girl, she has a gunblade...GUNBLADE!!! o rly? Ya, I know that she's using a fire-based attack, saw the trailer first day it was on G4 at E3. XD; I just realized, as well, that lightening isn't an attack, thunder is (which...makes no sense D: ), and that I've read a report on that. Lot's of people have said that "OSNAP, LIGHTENING IS HER NAME. SRLY!" I doubt her name is Lightening, though. It could be her weapon, or weather conditions. That'd be an OSNAP comment if they had weather conditions. :3 Probably not. And...I don't think that thing really is a Gunblade. Sure, a blade comes out of the gun, but that was called a.....I got nothing. But, they used it in the Civil War, and I'm sure many other cultures used it at the same time. Put the sword on the muskeet....ya? Ya. A Gunblade is actually a fusion of a gun and sword, where the barrell and handle make the...handle, and come into the blade. What she has, she has a gun, with a blade that can come out of it. D: And, we haven't even seen if she can still shoot the gun after the blade comes out. Edit: I just realized those muskeet swords things were used in the Revolutionary War, too. D: I....barely paid attention in history? ;o;

It's a bladegun. =o Don't worry I'm not being serious...
Though they could be rivals (The guy and the girl) so you play game from each other their side. I don't care I'll play the guy's site first. He's the coolest guy in Final Fantasy yet. Even more than Vincent Valentine.

XD; You don't even know him. He could be a pansy like Loz. "I'm not crying!" XD
Yes, a bladegun. :o
Well, that is a possibility, but supposedly all teh games are going to be completely different from eachother, but in the same world. Maybe they could be, like, two agents on opposing sides? :3 Hawtsome.

"AHAHAHAA!!! THE LEGENDARY BLADEGUN IS MINE!!!" ftw? >_< I liked Loz, hehe even though he was a pervert and only fought females. Though I have a picture of him where he sits at the throne with his sword and looks awesome. I love him! (Not in the gay way >_>)

"So many questions need answers. What is a bladegun? Who is he? Am I gay ? Why do I have a girlfriend? Everything will come together... in Final Fantasy XIII." >_>

Well, there's rumors that the girl's name is Lightning. The guy's name could be Natch...

You can normally always decide the main character's name. Like with Tidus in FFX for an example. Which of the new Final Fantasy games are you people gonna buy first?
