You could make 'em go to sleep y'know? Just go to an inn (or the cabin on the airship) and select rest.
And no, I wasn't TRYING to prove I could stay up the whole night. I got emmersed in playing final fantasy VIII and forgot the time. Was about 4:00 am when I finally realised so I didn't bother sleeping. Just carried on playing.

AH yes.... Invincible I think it's called. I have that, and it let's you exceed the 9999 damage limit. But really I want to break the HP limit. I got all my characters to have 9999 HP and what happened when I fought black elemental in Bevelle? His 9999 damage attack killed my characters cause they couldn't break the DAMN HP LIMIT!! ARGH!! Oh well, I won in the end.

There is an item with the Break HP Limit ability. If you don't visit the moonflow at all in chapter one then tobli will be on board the airship at the beginning of chapter 2. Pushing him into the lift with the musicians then you will receive ENTERPRISE, which has the Break HP Limit. If you don't push him into the lift (you don't have to) then you won't get it. There is also a Garment Grid with Break HP Limit: Higher Power. You have to gain access to the cave ruins in the calm lands, defeat the Anything Eater, and get the Amazing Chocobo. Doing this will get you the Garment Grid. Passing through all 4 gates on this grid also gives Break Damage Limit. Theres a second one with Break HP limit And Break Damage Limit: The End. Simply(?) See all fiends in oversoul and check Shinra's Bestiaries. Ain't i good?

AHA! That explains it! I usually just follow internet walkthroughs when I get REALLY stuck. But no internet walkthrough can help me beat Lady Yunalesca in the Via Infinito. Puh!

I did that without the strategy guide. I only got it after i beat the game. Just charge up all your overdrives (aeons are essential) and wait till the last transformation of her. Than blast her as hard as you can. Bahamut came in very handy. amazing i still remember that...

Tut tut Miyu but I ALREADY beat Yunalesca in X. What I'm talking about is in X-2 when you meet the beast she transforms into in the Via Infinito. But thanks fro the advice. Wish I'd have known bout that when I was trying to beat X.
