Lisa pulled out the parts she needed and dragged them towards the lift. She took the lift down to her special room where she created and repaired machina. She laid eyes on her creation so far. It was fairly large, about the size of her old one. Maybe a little bigger. She smiled at it and said: "Hello XL-Zero. Remember me? I'm gonna tune you up reall good," and she went to get some tools. After that, she began work on her machina. To her, XL-Zero was like a pet, and although it was unliving, it was still her creation and she loved all the machina she made but this one was special. She didn't know why, but it was. So she took the attack part and began fixing it into place on the machina.

Name: Trish Belalorn Nationality: Al Bhed Occupation: New recruit. Handles all the 'get me this tool' jobs, though has a brilliant mind and some creative ideas. Eye colour: Green with swirls Weapon/ Usual dressphere: A small crossbow on her right arm, and a longbow on her back. Ultimate weapon/ Special Dressphere: Legend's Rage(Bow that enables me to shoot up to ten arrows at a time. ) Overdrive: Heaven Arrows Appearence: Googles sitting on top of her red-blonde hair. Her clothing is simple, ripped jeans with strapped on metal parts here and there with a particulary dirty t-shirt, also with pieces of metal her and there. Carries a backpack.
Trish looked around, sighing boringly. She quickly glanced around to see if anyone saw her. Sighing would only mean one of the technicians would give her a tedious job, probably carrying the tools out to the other technicians in the desert. It was proably her break now, they never told her when but instead left her alone for a while. There was nothing really to do since she was only a new recruit. She watched one of the not so great Al Bhed techs try and fix a broken machina. He was doing it all wrong she noticed. Didn't he know the JV-48 wire went to the red socket? Who told him iit went into the green? She sighed again.

Please let this work... 'You may be the master of machina repairing but you're not so good at building them..' that's what Gippal said... Well I prove him wrong... Lisa thought and punched the floor angrily. "You hear me Gippal!? I'll make the best machina in the world!! You'll see!!" she shouted up at the ceiling. Her eyes were slightly filled with tears and so she wiped them and carried on working on XL-Zero. "I'll show you all..." she mumbled and kept working away at the machina, adding a defense part on.

In his underground lab, things were not going smoothly. Baal had just discovered that he had given his some of machina drones the wrong instructions and they were building some component peices in the wrong sizes. "Stupid, pointless machines! Can't you do anything right!?" He usually could control his temper but he had been working for too long. He took a 'modified' blue mage gun, and shot at the drones he was annoyed with. They were instantly vaporised. "Right, this time we'll do it properly" he said to himself. He gestured for two drones to take the place o the two which didn't perform properly. He went back to his workbench and continued working.

Lisa continusally worked away at XL-Zero, not relying on the machina nearby to get her the parts she needed. "Half these stupid machina couldn't measure up to what XL-Zero's gonna be like. It's gonna be the ultimate machina, with all the lastest parts that we could only dream of! And I know that I've never created anything like this before in my life but I know, somehow, that this... this will be the greatest machina in history!! Better than Vegnagun and it will be controlled!!" Lisa yelled and smirked as she added a few final parts. "It's almost completed..." she muttered and let out a manical laughter, like that of a mad scientist as he discovered his creation was 'alive'.

Out of complete bordiness, Trish walked over to a forgotten machina, long given up hope for. couple of components here and there should do the trick she though before picking out a tool from her backpack. So, she had knicked it, but the Machine Faction has so many others they wouldn't notice. She set herself into a comfortable position and began to work away her break.

Lisa had no idea to what goal she was working for. She was just doing this to prove she could, which was very Lisa like. Lisa was the type of person who loved to creat but wasn't very good at it. The type of person who only did things to prove to others she could. She wondered whether these were very good reasons as she worked away at XL-Zero, polishing it and cleaning up it's parts. It was basically completed, it just needed some minor adjustments. 3 hours 23 minutes 18 seconds... wow!! That went fast!! And I even completed it in record time!! This calls for a celebration!! Lisa thought, got up off the floor she'd been working on XL-Zero from and went into the main area of Djose Temple. She decided that maybe she'd go see how everyone else was doing and get a drink before adding the final touches.

Trish wiped away the bit of sweat that was forming on her brow. She stood up from her kneeling postition and put the tools back into her little pack. She stepped back to examine her work. The little machina still looked a bit shabby, but it would probably work. She plugged in the necessary plugs, until she could get a battery samll enough she'd have to work with them, and waited for the machina to boot up. After a about three minutes she decided to give up. Trish walked up to the back of it and prepared to take the plugs out when it suddenly booted to life. The machina had been remodeled as a large cat type thing. Apparently the half-wits didn't know how to make that work, so they had given up on that idea. Now though, the large cat machina moved its head about, moving a bit to get the oil in its legs.

Lisa couldn't have been happier with the way XL-Zero had been almost completed. It was a miracle. And she knew it would certainly put Gippal in his rightful place. I can't create? Hmph! I'll show you who can create! Lisa thought. She looked around for the other Al Bhed supposedly still "at work" but found only one other person still working away. "Lazy slackers..." Lisa muttered and walked over to Trish, who was restoring the cat machina they gave up on several months ago. "Hey Trish. Need a hand?" Lisa asked.

Trish jumped a bit at the sound of someone else's voice and grinned sheepishly. "Ah, no, you're a bit late. All i need now is a good battery she'll be ready to go." The machina tried to move forward a step but stumbled. Trish cringed. "Well, maybe a little help would benefit..."

"Hmmm... lemme think... I think that there's a spare battery in the room where I usually repair machina... and to keep it from stumbling, how bout checking the legs are the same lengths? As I recall, the idiot who designed it didn't bother checking they wer the same lengths," Lisa said, and ran off to get the spare battery. She returned 5 minutes later, holding the battery. "Here you go," she said, handing Trish the spare battery.

"Thanks," Trish says and takes the battery from her. After turning the machina off and putting in the battery she checked its legs and sure enough, the lenghts were different. "Wow, i didn't even think of checking the legs it was so elementary!" She said, clearly dumbfounded. She took out a couple of tools and began to work on it, already forgetting Lisa in her hurry to work.

Heh heh... the kid is good. Reminds me of when I first joined the Machine Faction... but that was such a long time ago. And it's making me feel old!! Maybe I should finish up on XL-Zero... Lisa thought. "I'll see you later Trish. Got to finish up a little project of my own," Lisa told Trish and ran off back to her special room, to continue with the finishing touches on XL-Zero.

As Baal finished the penultimate section of his new machine, he decided to give himself one last break. Walking out of his lab he decided to see what other people were doing. He enjoyed "helping" other members of the faction while they were working, although he quite often irritated them with his constant reccomendations and criticisisms. He came across Trish. "Good morning. Trish, isn't it? I don't think I've spoken to you before have I? How is your work going?"

Trish looked up, still working, to see who was talking to her. "Yep, Trish," She confirmed, sliding over to the other two legs. "It's well, now that i know what's wrong. Whoever did this wasn't very attentive." She took a nut out of her sack and screwed it on. "And no," She looked up and gave him a smile. "Don't think you have. Talked to me, i mean." A hiss sounded, and she gave a little start. She frowned and checked the machine over.
